Community Profiles
Carlisle
Carlisle offers a way of life which is rapidly disappearing from the American scene, a community that is self-reliant, independent, and proud of its heritage. Carlisle is a worthwhile place where one can still earn a living, raise a family, and enjoy the pleasures of life away from the frenzy and congestion of larger metropolitan areas.
Carlisle was founded over 200 years ago and served for many years as a frontier gateway to the West. Today, it stands as a gateway to the future. Although the area is rich in the early history of Pennsylvania and America, it is completely attuned to modern times. Today, Carlisle provides excellent recreational opportunities, a favorable tax structure, and is an industrial center and the shopping hub of nearby communities.

Hanover
Hanover, Pennsylvania is a picturesque town in the south central portion of the state, nestled in one of the valleys of the Pigeon hills. Hanover provides an interesting blend of architecture, fine dining, outdoor entertainment, recreation and a strong industrial base. A diverse community, there is a healthy mix of manufacturing, processing, trade and agriculture-a fitting tribute to the strong work ethic and dedication of its earliest settlers, the Germans.
Hanover is also growing-rapidly. Studies predict that the area is growing at a rate of 32 percent, and will continue to do so until 2020. Hanover is the fifth largest retail area in Pennsylvania and the eighth largest manufacturing region. Hanover also bares another distinction - it is the "snack food
capital of Pennsylvania," home to nearly one dozen brands, including Utz Potato Chips and Snyder's of Hanover.
