With more than 30 years of experience, Gary is one of the firm’s pivotal resources for nonprofit organizations and provides expert guidance on Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations. His responsibilities include planning and overseeing various types of audit and agreed-upon procedure engagements for the firm’s higher education, nonprofit, financial institution, commercial, and healthcare clients. He manages approximately 25 audits each year and performs other services such as compilations, reviews, and 990s for approximately 40 nonprofit clients.
Throughout his career, Gary has gained expertise in financial statement audits, nonprofit and higher education reporting, compilations, & reviews, 990s, internal control audit services, SOX 404 compliance audits, and bank (ACH & BSA) audits.
Prior to joining the firm, Gary worked for Financial Trust Corporation where he held various positions, including internal auditor. In addition to his current client responsibilities, Gary serves as a member of the firm's Practice Development Committee.
