Sierra Overmoyer, CPA, Senior Associate at SEK, CPAs & Advisors, has been selected by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) as a recipient of the 2024 Elijah Watt Sells Award for exceptional performance on the Uniform CPA Examination.

Each year, the AICPA grants the award to CPA candidates who achieve a cumulative average score of 95.50 or higher across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination and pass all four sections on their first attempt.
 

Sierra joined SEK’s Carlisle office in 2023. She focuses on preparing tax returns for closely held businesses and individuals, and she also assists with bookkeeping. Her experience includes preparing partnership and S-corporation returns, as well as compilations and reviews. In addition to her client responsibilities, Sierra is a member of the firm’s Tax Efficiency Task Force and Emerging Professionals Committee. She graduated summa cum laude from Shippensburg University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and is a Lifetime Member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the AACSB International Business Honor Society.
