Q&A with Jodie
-
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a kid, I wanted to be an archaeologist or paleontologist because I have always been fascinated with the past and how things have evolved. This early interest sparked a lifelong appreciation for history and exploration, even though my professional path eventually took a different direction.
-
What are your hobbies?
Outside of work I enjoy reading, genealogy research, exploring, visiting museums, fly fishing, woodworking, and working on anything with an internal combustion engine.
-
What is on your bucket list?
One of my bucket list goals is to buy land and start a small-scale grain farm. It's a dream that combines my interests in the outdoors, sustainability, and hard work.
-
What would others be surprised to learn about you?
Most people are surprised to learn that accounting is not my first career path. I previously worked in residential construction and automotive repair. I once held Pennsylvania emissions and safety inspection licenses and several ASE certifications, but they since expired.
-
What is the number one reason you would hire you?
I would hire me because I become vested in every project I work on. I approach tasks with an intense thoroughness, while simultaneously maintaining a broad perspective on how these details contribute to larger goals. This balance allows me to deliver high-quality work that meets and often exceeds objectives, making me a valuable asset to any team.
